Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using djligal.com or the DJ Ligal mobile apps, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Accounts

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

• Don't submit hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or illegal content in song titles, shoutouts, or any other field.
• Don't attempt to break, overload, probe, or reverse engineer the service.
• Don't impersonate other people or spam other users.
• Follow the DJ's rules at any party you join — the DJ has the final say on what gets played.

We may suspend or remove access for anyone who violates these rules.

Bookings, quotes, and payments

• Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices can change if event details change.
• Invoices are payable via Stripe or the method listed on the invoice. Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has started; specific refund terms will be spelled out on each quote.
• Cancellations should be communicated as early as possible. Late cancellations may forfeit part or all of the deposit.

User content

When you submit song requests, shoutouts, photos, or other content, you grant DJ Ligal a limited, non-exclusive license to display and use that content to operate the service (for example, showing your shoutout on the DJ's screen or sharing photos from the event with attendees). You retain ownership of your content.

Third-party services

We integrate with Stripe, push notification providers, and similar services. Their terms apply when you use those features.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, DJ Ligal is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

You can stop using the service any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we stop offering a feature.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll note it here and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
